This is my story I started to write as I was recovering from the most traumatic event in my life. I suffered severe head trauma from a horseback riding accident. The emotions experienced after the realization of how close I was to death were so overwhelming that I took my pen to paper and wrote. I wanted to share my story - from the day of the accident, my days of my life that I will never remember, the need to reach out, and the journey back to where I am. My only hope is that this book helps to explain what a severe head trauma means to the victim and to the victim's family. In writing this, it has helped me; in reading it, I hope it helps you.

Author Biography

Christine has a tremendous love of horses and has been horseback riding since the age of 12. She is a proud owner of two horses and both of her children had joined her on the trail in their younger years. She enjoys the outdoors best on horseback. If not walking her dog, he will be alongside of her as she rides.
