This important book argues their case--principally from a legal standpoint, but also using significant historical, political, and diplomatic sources. The second edition begins with an account of the recent history of Cyprus and then goes on to deal with the international law aspects of the various developments that have taken place since 1963. It also deals with the current efforts to find an agreed settlement through the good offices mission of the UN Secretary-General, and the present position of the parties.
