Abstract:

Patient satisfaction with health care received is predictive of health outcomes including compliance with health care. This research explores the level of acculturation in African American Veteran patients and how it predicts their perceptions of their health provider's cultural sensitivity and their perceived satisfaction with health care received. Implications for health practice and future research are discussed.
