It has been required in the Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Course for second year medical students at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. This book is meant to be a companion to my other text, Cardiovascular Physiology, 3rd Edition.

Author Biography

The author is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He has taught medical and graduate students for many years. His research and teaching interests have been mainly in the areas of membrane biophysics, cardiovascular physiology, gastrointestinal physiology, pulmonary physiology, and muscle physiology.
