His research interests include econometrics, statistics, financial economics, and antitrust economics. His research appears in leading peer-reviewed journals and in a recent book on antitrust economics. He has taught undergraduate and graduate economics courses for over 20 years, and before his academic career, he served as a research associate for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He applies economics as a consultant on employment-related tort cases, antitrust claims, and policy analysis.
