Gatgounis (Author)

In this landmark tenth volume of the Religion and Law series, Gatgounis confronts one of the most consequential and controversial moments in recent American history--the attempted assassination of Donald John Trump on July 13, 2024. Approaching the event through the unified lens of jurisprudence, theology, culture, and Scripture, Gatgounis situates this modern tragedy within the long continuum of human violence, divine sovereignty, and legal restraint. In Volume X: A Legal, Cultural, Factual, Theological, and Biblical Analysis of the July 13, 2024, Attempted Assassination of Donald John Trump, Gatgounis unites the courtroom, the classroom, and the sanctuary into one interpretive framework. His work is neither partisan nor polemical but juridically precise and theologically grounded--a sober reflection on justice, mercy, and mortality in a nation divided. Through this lens, the 2024 attempt on a presidential life becomes more than a moment of violence; it becomes a mirror held to the American soul.

Author Biography

George J.
