Kenna McKinnon is a freelance writer and self-employed businesswoman who has lived successfully with schizophrenia for many years. Kenna was born on October 23, 1944 in Toronto, Ontario and presently lives in Edmonton, Alberta. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1975. She has three wonderful adult children, two sons and a daughter, and three grandsons. Although her degree is in Anthropology (with a minor in Psychology), Kenna has spent her life writing. She enjoys exploring the psychology of the human condition, especially when the accompanying human is dropped into complex and unusual circumstances. Her Young Adult\/Middle Grade SF novel, SPACEHIVE, published by Imajin Books, is available through Amazon in both ebook and trade paperback formats. Kenna was diagnosed in 1978 with schizophrenia, is an Edmonton based freelance writer and has owned her own medical transcription business since 1999.
